"Shelterbelt", Tree Party's 4th release, is a collection of songs temporarily put on hold because a fire broke out at the studio. Each core member of Tree Party wrote and sang songs on this album. From the first beer can smash in "8 Beers" to the last ringing chorus of "Long Hard Road," the arc of the album is apparent and mimics the arc of the band's changing musical style over the past few years.
